THE OPERATING SYSTEM WE'RE BUILDING INSIDE MASTERLINE

We built one system for the real work inside our business.

Masterline IQ—MIQ for short—connects our shared inbox, work orders, vendor dispatch, estimates, invoices, and company data. Our office uses it today with real customer work. It is live, still unfinished, and built to help Masterline serve more customers without copying the same information between programs all day.

01 / LIVE TODAY

This is live inside Masterline—and it is not finished.

MIQ is already part of the day-to-day work inside Masterline. We roll it out one working process at a time because real customers, real vendors, and real money are on the other side of the software.

01

Shared inbox

Our office can see the thread, attachments, owner, notes, status, history, and reply without separating the conversation from the work.

02

Work orders

Customer, location, scope, schedule, status, notes, and billing context stay connected to the job.

03

Vendor dispatch

The team dispatches qualified service providers and tracks job progress inside the same operating system.

04

Estimates and invoices

The office submits estimates and invoices through MIQ, with people reviewing what goes out.

Honest status: the shared operating system is live inside Masterline. Some workflows are mature, some are being hardened, and some of the larger AI vision is still ahead of us.

02 / ONE REAL WORKFLOW

A job should move forward without the office rebuilding it five times.

The point is not adding AI everywhere. The point is connecting the work once, keeping the history intact, and letting the right person make the decision at the right moment.

01

Inbox

A customer request arrives with the conversation and attachments intact.

02

Work order

The request becomes one operating record instead of another disconnected copy.

03

Dispatch

The office coordinates an in-house technician or a qualified service provider.

04

Service proof

Notes, photos, and status come back to the same job.

05

Invoice

The office prepares the invoice from records tied to the completed work.

04 / HUMAN-CONTROLLED AI

AI can move the work. People still own the promise.

MIQ is designed to make good operators faster without hiding uncertainty or handing sensitive decisions to an unchecked system.

AI HELPS WITH
  • Finding context across connected records
  • Preparing drafts and repeatable work
  • Organizing information and next steps
  • Highlighting items for review
PEOPLE STILL DECIDE
  • Customer promises and unusual situations
  • Money, approvals, and sensitive actions
  • What is sent and what changes a record
  • When the software has earned more authority

05 / THE BUILD

The vision is big. The proof has to be earned one useful piece at a time.

We are replacing systems that already helped our business grow. That makes the work harder—and more honest. Every new layer has to survive real office pressure before it deserves a larger role.

LIVE TODAY

Connected operating work

Shared inbox, work orders, vendor dispatch, estimates, invoices, supporting records, and role-based access used inside Masterline.

ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT

Deeper reliability and rollout

We are hardening workflows, improving mobile and recovery behavior, reconciling historical data, and expanding carefully where the evidence supports it.

LONG-TERM DIRECTION

A business that can learn

The goal is a governed operating system that helps people see the whole business, improve repeatable work, and integrate growth without losing control.

06 / WHY I BUILT MIQ

I am not building MIQ to sell software. I am building it to make our business better.

Masterline is my family's service business. I learned product and operations at Bambee and through internships with private-equity firms, then brought those lessons into the company. The systems we already had worked and supported the business as it grew. We chose to start rebuilding anyway because I believe the move to AI will matter even more than the move from paper to the internet.

That does not mean replacing people or trusting every AI answer. It means giving good people better leverage, connecting the work, checking the result, and earning the next step.

“Replacing something broken is easy. The hard call is leaving something that works because you believe what comes next can be better.”
